Not all who fall are heroes. Some were hired thugs — casualties of greed, not sacrifice.
The regime glorifies its fallen officers as martyrs — but many were mercenaries, drawn by salary, not spirit. Paid to kill. Paid to die.
True martyrdom is selfless. What we see instead is a business — blood for money, honour for hire.
These weren’t defenders of Iran. They were enforcers of repression — cracking down on students, women, and protesters. Their weapons served tyranny, not truth.
Their deaths were not national tragedies — they were delayed consequences of injustice.
Families are paid to mourn. Media is ordered to praise. Propaganda cloaks the regime’s embarrassment with the language of heaven.
But no lie can make a hired killer holy.
These are the true martyrs. Not generals with foreign property. Not commanders with blood on their hands.
